CALL FOR ARTWORKS - Dental School Faculty & Alumni

The Sindecuse Museum will host a third round of its Artistry/Dentistry exhibit in the winter of 2027.  The exhibit explores the creative side of people working in our building. For those pursuing a career in dentistry, it is assumed that the manual dexterity, vision, and skill required in dentistry, necessitates a creative mind.

Accepted Art Mediums

Two-dimensional visual art (Must be smaller than 48”x48”), digital photography , three-dimensional sculpture, textiles, ceramic, jewelry, mixed media. Must be light enough for one person to carry, and small enough to fit in a backpack.

Subject Matter

Inspiration for the art does NOT need to relate to dentistry, although it can. Participants may also draw inspiration from their overall personal experiences at the U-M School of Dentistry.

By submitting your artwork, you are agreeing to share copyright for images and video recordings of the artwork with the Sindecuse Museum of Dentistry in perpetuity. Images of the artwork could appear in future exhibits, programs, at the Museum and online.
